Shakespeare's Palace features three main attractions. The most popular attraction is our rollercoaster through Shakespeare's life. There are mini speakers on each headrest to tell the story of his life and success. It goes through loops and corkscrews of death. This exciting coaster travels at a speed of 100 mph so you can hear the story while vomiting. It also features a 400 ft loop that sometimes falls apart while in motion. This rollercoaster is called The Life in times of Shakespeare. It is located in front of the south entrance, next to The Shakespeare Coffee House and Shakespeare's Theatre.
Romeo and Juliet
Secondly, Shakespeare's Palace has one of the most romantic telling of Romeo and Juliet. This show is done on our biggest theater with surround sound speakers, and seats 6000 people. We have some of the most talented actors and actresses playing the characters of the story. Chuck Norris is playing Romeo and Jack Black is playing Juliet. It is very romantic with some comedy thrown in on a few parts. This show is near the east entrance on the left of Cafe Shakespeare and is recommended by many. The show is an hour and fifteen minutes with an intermission half way through and the price of the show is included when you buy a ticket to the park.
The Grand Parade
Lastly, we have the most popular parades in all of Alaska. This parade consists of floats designed as Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Hamlet, and many other Shakespearean plays. The parade stays in the NW corner of the park. It lasts 35 minutes. It is pretty cool.
